Meet the acts....
Tony Cowards (HOST) is a rapidfire gag merchant with an arsenal full of one-liners, for laughs-per-minute he’s tough to beat! His quick wit and vast array of jokes has made him a sought after act and compere by comedy clubs across the UK and internationally. Something of a Twitter sensation, Tony’s jokes turn up in all sorts of places, from greetings cards to The Times newspaper, even if you’ve never heard of him there’s a good chance that you’ll have laughed at one of his gags.
Kev Mud
Rising star of the UK Comedy Scene, Kev Mud is “one to watch” (Chortle) and “one of the best new acts in the last 20 years” (Spiky Mike, Funhouse Comedy). He brings his experiences as a homeless ex-addict to a performance that has been described as “honest, charming and humorous” (British Comedy Guide), by delivering his stories and cleverly written pieces “with charm and wit” (Chortle).
STEVE DAY
Steve Day describes himself as Britains only deaf comedian, if there are any others he hasn't heard.
Actually there are a couple of others who have started since he wrote that joke, but it's only a joke after all.
Married with five children, a fact nothing to do with not being able to hear the word 'No', Steve has been described as 'warm and witty' by the Scotsman and has received many other rave reviews whilst performing shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
A disabled performer, Steve is more concerned with success in the mainstream comedy circuit, but is happy to 'deaf it up' as necessary if the money is ok and there are sandwiches.
Please note: This is a live, unscripted comedy show featuring comedians who may engage with the audience. Please note, adult content and language may be used. Seating is casual and first come, first served—so if you'd prefer a spot at the back, be sure to arrive early!
